Garwoods announce birth of 2nd child

Gracie Garwood holds new brother Grifin.

    Philip and Lorie (Matthews) Garwood of Decatur, Ind., are proud to announce the birth of their second child, a son. Grifin Michael Garwood was born at 12:15 p.m. March 12, 2008, at Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
    He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 20 inches long at birth.
    Big sister Gracie An welcome Grifin home. Proud grandparents include Wayne and Deb Matthews of Ohio City and Ed and Betty Garwood of Decatur.
    Gracie and Grifin are loved by several aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with two great-grandmothers, Marcile Matthews of Ohio City ad Alvira Kaiser of Fort Recovery.

Griffin Gunter

Delphos couple has son

    Eric and Michelle Gunter of Delphos are proud to announce the birth of their son, Griffin Charles, born at 12:18 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2008, at Van Wert County Hospital.
    Griffin weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 21 inches long at birth.
    Maternal grandparents are Dave and Jan Kimmey. Paternal grandparents are Bill and Kathy Gunter.
    Griffin was welcomed home by his big sister, Gracie, 5, and his big brother, Garrett, 4.

Hoghes have new daughter
    Tyler and Kristy Hoghe are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Brynn Alexis, born at 6:22 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
    Brynn weighed 9.1 pounds and was 22 inches long at birth.
    Maternal grandparents are Jackie Roberts, Jim and Jeannine Long, Dale and Joanne Long, Donna Pollock and the late Arlo Pollock.
    Paternal grandparents are Mark and Tracy Bishop, Joe and Nancy Hoghe, Vern and Barb Etzler and Bev Bishop.
    Brynn was welcomed home by a very excited and proud big sister, Aryonna, 4.

Couple celebrates birth of twins

    Todd and Lisa Wallace of Van Wert are proud to announce the birth of their twin son and

Addison and Briggs Wallace

daughter born on March 16th at Van Wert County Hospital.

    Addison Marie Wallace was born at 1:46 a.m., weighed 5 pounds, 8 ounces, and was 19 inches long. Briggs Claron Wallace was born at 1:48 a.m., weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 18½ inches long at birth.

    Maternal grandparents are Kenneth and Cheryl Miller of Van Wert. Paternal grandparents are Jim and Faith Wallace of Van Wert and Doug and Marilyn Strickler of Venedocia.

    Addison and Briggs were welcomed home by their big brother, Ryan, 7, and big sisters Bailee, 5, and Emma, 2.

Stemens announce birth of daughter
    Derek and Abby Stemen of Ohio City would like to announce the birth of their daughter, Eliza Mae, born Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

Eliza Mae weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 20 inches long at birth.

    Maternal grandparents are Richard and Jody Merkle of Ohio City.  Maternal great-grandparents are Lester and Rose Merkle of Ohio City and Ron and Judy Lautzenheiser of Van Wert. 

    Paternal grandparents are Dan and Lisa Stemen of Van Wert.  Paternal great-grandparents are Linda Stemen and Edith Carder, both of Delphos.  Paternal great-great grandmother is Martha Carder of Delphos.

    Frank and Kris Kill of Lima would like to announce the birth of their daughter, Carolina Rose, born Monday, February 11, 2008, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
    Carolina Rose weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 19½ inches long at birth.
    Maternal grandparents are Dave and Rose Wherry of Van Wert. Maternal great-grandparents are Charles and Mary Hargesheimer of Van Wert and Helen Wherry of Convoy.
    Paternal grandparents are Roger and Pamm Kill of Venedocia.

    Carolina Rose was welcomed home by proud big brother, Kenyon, 2.

Ridenours announce birth of daughter
    John and Tricia (Lloyd) Ridenour of Rockford are excited to announce the birth of their third child and first daughter, Gwyneth Rae Ridenour. 
     Gwyneth was born 8:08 a.m. on February 7, 2008, at the St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.  She weighed 9 pounds, and was 21 inches long at birth. 

      Maternal grandparents are Larry and Shirley Lloyd of Van Wert. Paternal grandparents are Nancy Surles of Willshire and the late John E. Ridenour. 

     Gwyneth was welcomed home by proud big brothers, Haydn (5) and Hutch (2).

Dannenfelsers announce birth of girl
     Cris and Rhonda (Rank) Dannenfelser of Fort Wayne, Ind., would like to announce the birth of their first child, a daughter, Abigail Mae, born January 23, 2008, at Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne.
     Abby weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 19 inches long at birth.
     Maternal grandparents are Ron and Joan Rank of Van Wert. Paternal grandparents are Steve and Sue Dannenfelser of Fort Wayne.  
     Maternal great-grandparents are Owen and Mary Rank of Van Wert.

    Erik and Tyann Shipley of Mooresville, Ind., are proud to announce the birth of their first child, a daughter, Eleanor Rose "Elllie". 

    Ellie was born at 2:58 a.m. February 6, 2008, at St. Vincent's Women's Hospital in Indianapolis.  She weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20 inches long at birth.

    Maternal grandparents are Jeff Wheeler and Sharon Wheeler, both of Van Wert; paternal grandparents Alvin and Marsha Shipley of Mooresville and Patty Dale of Lexington, Ky. 

    Maternal great-grandparents are Floyd and Rosemary Thatcher of Middle Point.

    Brandon and Michelle (Wolfcale) Breese of Ohio City proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Keira Liberty Breese.  Keira was born on Monday, February 4, 2008, at 11:12 p.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.  She weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 19½ inches long at birth.

Bauers announce birth of 3rd child
     Gregg and Elissa Bauer of Rockwall, Texas, announce the birth of their third son, Logan Douglas Bauer, at Presbyterian Hospital in Rockwall at 3:24 p.m. December 31, 2007.
     Logan Douglas weighted 7 pounds, 4 ounces, at birth.
     Paternal grandparents are Cyndi and Larry Lorton of Rockwall and Brent and Sarah Bauer of Michigan. Great-grandparents are Ernie and Carolyn Miller of Vann Wert and Herb and Betty Bauer of Ohio City.

     Maternal grandparents are Daniel and Joyce Duvall of Florida, while maternal great-grandparents are Roger and Vi Tappenden of Michigan.
     Logan was welcomed home by his brothers, Benjamin, 7, and Mason, 3.
