WOLKE

    Ernest K. Wolke, 82, of Delphos, died at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at his residence.
    He was born January 20, 1926, in Cloverdale, the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Unverferth) Wolke. On August 26, 1950, he married Dolores “Dollie” (Wannemacher) Wolke, who survives in Delphos.
    Other survivors include two sons, Gary (Teresa) Wolke and Don (Donna) Wolke, both of Delphos; a daughter, Debra (Tom) Buettner of Delphos; one brother, Vernon Wolke of Ada; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
    A brother, Cy Wolke; an infant brother, Tommy Wolke; and a sister, Jeanett Stechschulte, also preceded him in death.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 18, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Melvin Verhoff officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.
    Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, and from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 Thursday evening.

REECE
    Nina E. Reece, 96, of Van Wert, died at 5:41 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Van Wert Manor in Van Wert.
    She was born November 7, 1911, in Wells County, Ind., the daughter of the late Frank and Martha (King) Haines. On November 15, 1930, she married James Noel Reece, who preceded her in death on November 17, 1974.
    Survivors include two daughters, Sue Dempsey of Van Wert and Kay (Charles) Sweeney of St. Marys; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
    Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
    There will be no visitation.
