WISTNER
    Gerald Rodney “Rod” Wistner, 70, of Grover Hill, died at 7:20 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008, at his residence.
    He was born April 25, 1937, in Latty Township, Paulding County, the son of the late Gerald Rayburn Wistner and Marcele (Harpster) Wistner. On August 29, 1969, he married Judy (Thatcher) Wistner, who survives in Grover Hill.
    Other survivors include five children, Sue (Robert) Alvarez of Sherwood, Brent (Michelle) Waggoner of Payne, Eric Wistner of Paulding, Kelly (Sandy) Wistner of Hicksville and Jennifer (B.J.) Fisher of Grover Hill; two brothers, John R. (Cora) Wistner of Haviland and Maurice R. (Cheryl) Wistner of Grover Hill; two sisters, Naomi R. (Paul H.) Bidlack and Ona R. (Ray) Volk, both of Grover Hill; and seven grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 21, at Zion United Methodist Church in Grover Hill, with Pastor Bo Chirsman officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Washington Township, Paulding County.
    Visitation is from 2-7 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Monday at the church.
