RAMSEY
    L. Maynard Ramsey, 81, of Convoy, died at 3:29 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at his residence.
    He was born July 24, 1926, in Van Wert County, the son of the late Harry P. and Olive (Pancake) Ramsey. On April 27, 1952, he married Wilma L. (Purk) Ramsey, who survives in Convoy.
    Mr. Ramsey was a construction electrician for 40 years, having worked for Gorman Electric in Van Wert for 36 years. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Convoy and was a graduate of Springfield High School. He had served in the U.S. Army and was a retired member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 32 in Lima.
    In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Beth (Michael A.) Conn of Van Wert; one sister, Mary Ellen (Ewen) Bryden of Charleston, Ill.; and three grandchildren, Preston Ramsey, Jared Conn and Tony Conn.
    A son, Philip M. Ramsey, and one brother, O. Milan Ramsey, also preceded him in death.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Convoy, with the Rev. Wesley Runk and Rev. Ron Green officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
    Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Friday, April 4, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
   
Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Community Health Professionals inpatient hospice facility.

BROWDER
    Linda L. Browder, 65, of Celina, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
    She was born May 3, 1942, in Celina, the daughter of the late Lester and Luella (Blatteau) Ebright. She married S. Paul Browder, who died in 1993.
    Survivors include her stepmother, Ilo Ebright of Celina; five children, Lisa (JD) Springer, Kenney Browder, Pat (Mary) Browder, Chris Browder and Mike (Melissa) Browder, all of Celina; three sisters, Nancy (Ed) Behm of Celina, Betty Dennis of Coldwater and Toni Crumley of Hicksville; four brothers, Bob (Joyce) Ebright, Bill (Chris) Ebright, and Jim (Tina) Ebright, all of Celina, and Lester Ebright Jr. of Geneva, Ind.; two stepbrothers, Steve (Pam) Ritchie of Celina and Dave (Elaine) Ritchie of Mobile, Ala.; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a companion of 12 years, Denny Alt.
    A brother-in-law, Jim Trombley, also preceded her in death.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 7, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with the Rev. Rick Brosher officiating. Burial will be in Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
    Visitation is from noon-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
