JEROME
    Graydon R. “Jerry” Jerome, 81, of Ossian, Ind., died at 6:50 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008, at Ossian Health & Rehab.
    He was born March 7, 1927, in Van Wert, the son of the late Daniel and Winnie (Snyder) Jerome. He married Barbara (Hopkins) Jerome, who survives in Ossian.
    Other survivors include two children, Jeri (Barry) Truesdale of Wapakoneta and Laurie (Scott) Stuckey of Ossian; a brother, Dan Jerome of Van Wert; one sister, Kay (Rex) Rodman of Van Wert; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
    Five brothers, Richard, Bob, Maynard, and James Jerome and Paul Mason; and two sisters, Catherine Roth ad Gwendolyn Knodel, also preceded him in death.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Pastor Don Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with military graveside rites performed by the combined honor units of American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, both in Van Wert.
    Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at the funeral home.

TAYLOR
    Marjorie Marie Taylor, 87, of Van Wert, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
    She was born November 29, 1920, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Clint and Thresia (Boberg) Dunlap. On June 28, 1942, she married Vondale Taylor, who survives in Van Wert.
    Other survivors include three children, Eric (Cathy) Taylor of Van Wert, Karen (John) Lippi of Knoxville, Tenn., and Janell (Gary) Dicke of Seymour, Tenn.; a sister, Loma Hoy of Grover Hill; four grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
    Two brothers, Norbert and Robert Dunlap, and four sisters, Selma Adams, Freda Adams, Della Ross and Olive Neiford, also preceded her in death.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.
    Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, with the family present from 2-4 and 6-8 that day.
