YEARLING
Catherine Marie (Wells) Yearling, 86, of Van Wert, died at 1:38 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born September 2, 1923, in Broughton, the daughter of the late J. Lawson and Inez (Cotterman) Wells. On August 22, 1944, she married Lewis Lynn Yearling, who preceded her in death on May 26, 2003.
Survivors include a son, Dana (Cheryl) Yearling of Van Wert; one daughter, Sharon Billing of Troy; two brothers, Cleo (Jackie) Wells and Herman (Doris) Wells, both of Van Wert; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A brother, Harold Wells; two sisters, Dorothy Dilbone and Lucille Dyer; and a son-in-law, Dennis Billing, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 4, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 3, at the funeral home.

WILSON
Charlotte L. Wilson, 65, of Paulding, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at Community Health Professionals’ Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born July 27, 1944, in Grover Hill, the daughter of Doris (Saxton) Baksa and the late Steve J. Baksa Jr. On September 7, 1985, she married Harold D. Wilson, who survives in Paulding.
Other survivors include two brothers, Howard (Barb) Baksa of Briceton and Roger (Susie) Baksa of Broughton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 5, at Calvary Evangelical Church in Van Wert, with Pastor Clark Williman officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Hedges Cemetery in Paulding.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Friday, December 4, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
