SANDERSON

Helen E. Sanderson, 87, of Middle Point, died at 5:36 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born July 11, 1922, in Eldorado, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frank and Cora (Holsinger) Burroughs. On Wednesday, December 24, 1971, she married Leo Burton Sanderson, who preceded her in death on June 24, 2000.

Mrs. Sanderson was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Elaine F. (Don) Duncan of Choctaw, Okla.; three sons, Dale L. (Darla) Sanderson of Middle Point, Eddie O. Sanderson of Van Wert and Gary D. (Jane) Sanderson of Montgomery, Mich.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A sister, Vada Siler, and one brother, Ralph Burroughs, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 31, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Dr. Jody Harr officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, at the funeral home.

BUEHLER

Ruth Alice Buehler, 92, of Paulding, died Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born July 6, 1971, in Paulding, the daughter of the late Andrew and Lena (Mossoney) Danklefsen. On January 30, 1939, she married Charles Buehler, who preceded her in death on October 10, 1986.

Survivors include a son, Terry (Marlene) Buehler of Paulding; a sister, Dorothy Lombard of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a grandson; and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 2, at First Presbyterian Church of Paulding, with the Rev. David Meriwether officiating. Burial will follow.

There will be no official calling hours; however refreshments and fellowship at the church will follow graveside services.
