GONSER
Glenda A. Gonser, 96, of Payne, died at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday,
February 13, 2008, at Dallas Lamb Foundation Home in Payne.
She was born August 7, 1911, in Paulding County, the daughter
of the late Emil and Lucinda (Wald) Huguenin. On June 8, 1946, she married
Charles G. Gonser, who preceded her in death on September 11, 2001.
Survivors include two daughters, Gaye Potts of Payne and
Cindy Munoz of Hamilton, Ind.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A brother, Victor Huguenin, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday,
February 15, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Payne, with the Rev. Amy
Haines officiating. Burial will be in Wiltsie Cemetery in Payne.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, February 14, at Den
Herder Funeral Home in Paulding and an hour prior to services Friday at the
church.
Memorials: St. Paul United Methodist Church in Payne or
the Dallas Lamb Foundation Home Activity Fund.
KELLY
Freeda Belle Kelly, 81, of Van Wert, died
at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at her
residence.
She was born December 24, 1926, in New Kensington, Pa., the
daughter of the late U.S. Grant and Margaret (Rau) Gillis. On June 10, 1949, she
married Glenn R. Kelly, who survives in Van Wert.
Survivors include a son, William (Deborah) Kelly of Van Wert;
one daughter-in-law, Michiko Kelly of Saratoga, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
A son, Scott Kelly; and one sister, Mary Louise Gillis, also
preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday,
February 23, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the
Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating.
Visitation will be an hour prior to services on February 23
at the funeral home.

BERKEBILE
Deborah A. Berkebile, 55, of Van Wert, died at 8:11 a.m.
Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at The Toledo Hospital.
She was born December 13, 1952, in Van Wert, the daughter of
the late Arthur and Lelia (Harvey) Waldron. She was married to Melvin H.
Berkebile, who survives in Van Wert.
Mrs.
Berkebile had formerly worked for the local news for the original Van Wert Cable
Channel and then worked in traffic enforcement for the City of Van Wert. She had
most recently served as a local precinct worker. She was a member of First
United Methodist Church in Van Wert, was a member and past president of the Van
Wert County Genealogical Society, was a former member of the Van Wert Area
Marching Band and a member of the former Harmonettes of First U.M. Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Nathan
(Lucy) Berkebile of Ohio City; two brothers, Mike Waldron and Dave (Marcha)
Waldron, both of Van Wert; one sister, Linda M. (Roy A.) Jeknavorian of Van
Wert; three grandchildren, Skyler, Tristan and Stephanie Berkebile; several
nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday,
February 16, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the
Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van
Wert.
Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Friday, February 15, at the
funeral home.
