BENDELE
Thomas H. Bendele, 87, of Delphos, died at 7:20 a.m. Friday,
February 15, 2008, at his residence.
He was born January 4, 19921, in Ottoville, the son of the
late Leo and Frances (Schmoeller) Bendele. On April 27, 1943, he married Helen
(Buecker) Bendele, who survives in Delphos.
Other survivors include four daughters, Mary (Larry) Teman
and Kathryn Plescher, both of Delphos, Margaret (Donald) Suever of Middle Point
and Jane (Jim) Reiselman of Lima; a brother, Robert Bendele of Delphos; one
sister, Dorothy Schmitz of Florida; eight grandchildren; and six
great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Ann Critchfield; and two brothers, Rudy and Ralph
Bendele, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday,
February 18, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with military rites
performed by the Delphos Veterans Council. Burial will be in Resurrection
Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, February 17, at the
funeral home.

SCHRIMSHAW
Albert C. Schrimshaw, 95, of Payne, died at 8:55 a.m. Friday,
February 15, 2008, at The Oaks in Columbia City, Ind.
He was born April 15, 1912, in Paulding County, the son of
the late Charles and Minnie (Allan) Schrimshaw. On January 1, 1939, he married
Helen W. (Huebner) Schrimshaw, who preceded him in death on November 19, 2002.
Survivors include three sons, Rex (Irene) Schrimshaw of
Wesley Chapel, Fla., Neal (Mary) Schrimshaw of Bolingbrook, Ill., and Keith
(Linda) Schrimshaw of Auburn, Ind.; a daughter, Marla (John) White of
Churubusco, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two
great-great-grandchildren.
A
brother, Joseph A. Schrimshaw, and one sister, Grace LeFvre, also preceded him
in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday, February 20, at St. John Lutheran Church in Briceton, with Pastor Joe
Allen officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Paulding.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, at
DenHerder Funeral Home in Paulding, and an hour prior to services Wednesday at
the church.
