THOMAS
    Gary L. Thomas, 67, of Van Wert, died at 8:58 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2008, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
    He was born August 10, 1940, in Van Wert, the son of the late Lester L. and Elizabeth (Herst) Thomas. On October 12, 1963, he married Jerri L. (Coyle) Thomas, who survives in Van Wert.
    Other survivors include two daughters, Teresa K. (Eric) Klinker of Van Wert and Kimberly S. (Rob) Beifuss of Overbrook, Kan.; and four grandchildren.
    A daughter, Lora Ann, also preceded him in death.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Tim Burden officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery near Middle Point.
    Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 25, at the funeral home.
    Memorials: American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association.
