FRECK
    Elizabeth L. Freck, 95, of Convoy, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
    She was born August 12, 1912, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Harle G. and Jessie Francis (Stuckey) Freck.
    Survivors include a brother-in-law, Carl Kimmel of Rockford; one sister-in-law, Ann Freck of Decatur, Ga.; four nephews; and one niece.
    A brother, Harold W. Freck, and one sister, Eleanor Kimmel also preceded her in death.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at Convoy United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Gregory Leigh officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.
    Visitation is from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church.

ASKINS
    Ronald Lee “Tiny” Askins, 56, of Fort Jennings, died at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

    He was born February 16, 1952, in Lima, the son of the late Wendell and Margaret (Fisher) Askins.
    Survivors include a daughter, Carrie Askins of Delphos; five brothers, Daniel Askins of Lima, David (Sally) Askins of Pharr, Texas, Bill (Janice) Askins of Fort Jennings, Fred (Tina) Askins of Twinsburg and Steve Askins of Delphos; and three sisters, Theresa (Michael) Vitantonio of Ocose, Fla., Mary (Richard) Alger of Elida and Becky (Arnold) Osting of Fort Jennings.
    A sister-in-law, Bonnie Askins, and one nephew, Sam Askins, also preceded him in death.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, March 3, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Jennings, with Father Joe Przybysz officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Fort Jennings.
    Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, March 1, and from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a vigil service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, and an hour prior to services Monday at the church.

WILLIAMSON
    LaDona Williamson, 62, of Van Wert, died at 5:08 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at her residence.
    She was born May 25, 1945, in Lima, the daughter of the late Edwin and Lela (Putman) Lindeman. She was first married to Byron Snavley and then to Bruce Williamson, with both preceding her in death.
    Survivors include a son, John Williamson of Van Wert; three daughters, Sherry Abbott of Auburn, Ind., Brenda (Chuck) Purdy of Delphos and Judy (Virgil Day) Waldron of Van Wert; three brothers, Larry (Joyce)  Lindeman and Gerald (Kay) Lindeman, both of Delphos, and Jim (Sue) Lindeman of Ohio City; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Chris Fellow of Van Wert.
    Four brothers, Kenny, Carl, Donald, and Edwin Lindeman, and three sisters, Imogene Joseph, Dorthy Williams and Marilyn Martin, also preceded her in death.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with Father George Maramkandom officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Delphos.
    Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at the funeral home.
