Death notices for Miley Cathern-Jo Haunhorst, Charlotte A. Rogers, Roy A. Line and Helen L. Brenneman.

 

HAUNHORST
    Miley Cathern-Jo Haunhorst of Delphos, died at 3:33 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2008, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
    She was born February 3, 2008, at St. Rita’s, the daughter of Chad A. and Tamara (Cox) Haunhorst of Delphos.
    Survivors include two sisters, Mahlon Haunhorst and Marley Haunhorst, both at home; her fraternal grandparents, Alan and Beverly Haunhorst of LaGrange, Ind.; and maternal grandparents, Edward and Sue Colvin of Wasilla, Alaska.
    A family service will be conducted at a later date with Father Melvin Verhoff officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.
    There will be no visitation.
   
Memorials: Donor’s choice.
    Arrangements were handled by Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos.
 

ROGERS
    Charlotte A. Rogers, 74, of Van Wert, died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2008, at her residence.
    She was born October 14, 1933, in Gibsonburg, the daughter of the late Allen and Leona (Crispen) Runion. She married Donald E. Rogers, who died June 21, 1999.
    Survivors include a son, Gary (Kristy) Rogers of Van Wert; one brother, Donald “Jack” Runion; and five grandchildren.
    Two brothers, Bill and Paul Runion; and two sisters, Evelyn Pratt and Mary Pratt, also preceded her in death.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 7, at Alspach Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Neil Hammons officiating. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery.
    Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, at the funeral home.

LINE
    Roy A. Line, 75, of Mendon, died Sunday, February 3, 2008, at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.
    He was born May 1, 1932, in Auglaize County, the son of the late Dale and Opal (Chiles) Line. On June 24, 1956, he married Doris Ann (Brown) Line, who survives.
    Other survivors include two sons, Dennis (Mindy) Line and Doyle (Lisa) Line, both of Van Wert; a sister, Maxine Wright of St. Marys; and three grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 7, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with the Rev. Dean Bruce officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
    Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 6 and an hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.

BRENNEMAN
    Helen L. Brenneman, 88, of Delphos, died at 4:26 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2008, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

    She was born August 26, 1919, in Elida, the daughter of the late Thomas and Gladys (Huffer) Jones. On December 24, 1938, she married Carroll E. Brenneman, who died in September 1982.

    Survivors include two sons, Ronald (Joyce) Brenneman and Jeff (Lori) Brenneman, both of Delphos; three daughters, Louise (Gary) Sroufe and Linda (George) Mox, both of Delphos, and Janet (Dick) Mason of Frankfort, Ind.; a brother, Bill Jones of Acadia, Wis.; two sisters, Elizabeth (Paul) Andrews of Ossian, Ind., and Joyce (Darrell) Brant of Van Wert; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
    A brother, Robert “Bob” Jones, also preceded her in death.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 7 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Delphos, with the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.
    Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where an Eastern Star services will be held at 8 that evening, and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
