STEMEN

Laurabelle Stemen, 90, of Grover Hill, died Sunday, February 7, 2010, at Dallas Lamb Foundation Home in Payne.

She was born January 19, 1920, in Continental, the daughter of the late David Leslie and Sarah Marie (Bell) Gambrel. On November 23, 1938, she married Therlo V. Stemen, who preceded her in death on March 15, 1980.

Survivors include two sons, Vernon (Linda) Stemen of Monroeville, Ind., and Richard (Paulette) Stemen of Payne; a brother, Rex (Cleo) Gambrel of Hicksville; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 11, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with Pastor Pat Holt and Jammie Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.

The family will receive friends from 2:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, and an hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.

BAKER

Kimberly A. Baker, 53, of Corydon, Ind., and formerly of Van Wert, died at 6:46 p.m. Sunday, February 7, 2010, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.

She was born March 30, 1956, in Lima, the daughter of Mary Lou (Druckemiller) Buschor, who survives in Mendon, and the late William C. Buschor. She was formerly married to Gale Baker, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include three children, Tiffany (Eric) Heidenescher of Ottoville, and Ammie Baker and Ryan Baker, both of Van Wert; Steve (Marilyn) Buschor of Roanoke, Va., Dan (Stacey) Buschor of Cape Coral, Fla., and Charles J. (Denise) Buschor of Orrville; and four grandchildren.

A sister, Lori K. Buschor, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 12, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, with Father Michael Zacharias officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.

The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, February 11, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.
