Death notice for Alberta Mary "Bertie" Miller.

MILLER
    Alberta Mary “Bertie” Miller, 85, of Rockford, died Wednesday morning, January 16, 2008, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Ind.
    She was born May 13, 1922, the daughter of the late Henry F. and Ida (Yewey) Wurster. On July 29, 1941, she married David L. Miller, who preceded her in death on November 16, 1985.
    Survivors include a son, Marline E. “Gene” (Linda L.) Miller of Van Wert; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    Two brothers, Gail and Emery Wurster, and two sisters, Gladys Miller and Evelyn Poppe, also preceded her in death.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 19, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Steve Waterman officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
    Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Friday, January 18, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
    Memorials: Olive Branch Church of God or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
