Death notices for Donald Eugene Kreischer, Agnes A. Stewart and Mildred Arlene "Kathleen" Kraft Allen.

KREISCHER
    Donald Eugene Kreischer, 77, of Scott, died at 7:29 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.
    He was born November 13, 1930, in Van Wert, the son of the late Jacob and Leona (Foor) Kreischer. On October 30, 1951, he married Mary L. (Downing) Kreischer, who survives.
    Other survivors include two sons, Donald E. (Lisa) Kreischer Jr. of Paulding and Jason C. Kreischer of Scott; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
    A brother, Robert L. Kreischer, also preceded him in death.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor W. Clark Williman of Calvary Evangelical Church officiating. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery.
    Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, at the funeral home.

STEWART
    Agnes A. Stewart, 98, of Delphos, died at 5:40 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008, at Vancrest Health Center in Delphos.
    She was born September 3, 1909, in Ottoville, the daughter of the late Jacob and Emma (John) Thitoff. On March 4, 1930, she married Charles Stewart, who preceded her in death on August 15, 1954.
    Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Mary Thitoff and Margaret Thitoff, many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
    Five brothers, Peter, Sylvester, Vincent, Richard and Donald Thitoff, and a sister, Rita B. Miller, also preceded her in death.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father George Maramkandom officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Delphos.
    Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a wake service will be held at 7:30 that evening, and a Catholic Ladies of Columbia service at 3 that afternoon.

ALLEN
    Mildred Arlene “Kathleen” Kraft Allen, 85, of Elida, died at 9:56 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
    She was born December 23, 1922, in Lima, the daughter of the late Levi and Edna (Overholt) Paxson. She first married Arnold E. Craft, who preceded her in death on February 7, 1942. She then married John D. Allen, who also preceded her in death.
    Survivors include three sons, Raymond (Karen) Kraft and Ronald Craft, both of Elida, and Jay Allen of Troy; four daughters, Janice McDorman and Linda (Butch) Wallace, both of Delphos, Pam Berry of Elida and Jo Ann (Tom) Peters of St. Marys; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Three sons, Roger, David and Robert Kraft, and a grandson, Joshua M. Allen, also preceded her in death.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 10, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with the Rev. Timothy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.
    Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, and an hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
