Death notice for Agnes E. Knippen.

KNIPPEN
    Agnes E. Knippen, 84, of Delphos, died at 7 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2008, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.
    She was born January 28, 1923, in Ottoville, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Ricker) Gasser. On January 3, 1948, in Delphos, she married Joseph Knippen, who survives.
    Other survivors include a son, Douglas Knippen of Van Wert; one daughter, Doris Showalter of Bowling Green; a brother, Robert (Dorothy) Gasser of Ottoville; seven sisters, Regina Boehmer, LaDonna Ostendorf and Leona (Len) Bruskotter, all of Fort Jennings, Mary Ann Grote and Deloris K. (Tony) Schulte, both of Kalida, Rita Miller of Warsaw, Ind., and Alvera (Gene) Kleman of Kansas; and three grandchildren.
    Two brothers, Art and Bill Gasser, and three sisters, Ann Knippen, Dorothy Osting and LaVera Hanf, also preceded her in death.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 10, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Thomas Gorman officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.
    Visitation is from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 that evening.
