YORK

Linda A. York, 65, of Van Wert, died at 11:25 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2010, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 31, 1944, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Howard and Ilo L. (Tice) Marbaugh. On November 28, 1962, she married Charles E.R. York, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include five children, Diane York of Wapakoneta, Brenda York and Clint York, both of Van Wert, Gary (Karen) York of Shade, and Steve York of Ray; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A brother, Mark Marbaugh, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Pastor James Klausing officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, at the funeral home.
