BERTHA J. WILDER
Bertha J. Wilder, 81, of Van Wert, died at 4:39 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.
She was born March 14, 1929, in Pineville, Ky., the daughter of the late Edward and Ava (Webb) Rhodes. On June 15, 1947, she married Terrell E. Wilder, who preceded her in death on July 10, 1995.
Survivors include seven children, Ron (Lynn) Wilder of Waynesfield, Anthony (Karen) Wilder and Deborah (Ray) Hower, both of Wapakoneta, Darrell (Lisa) Wilder and Charlene (Cliff) Moody, both of Van Wert, Carolyn (Jim) Thompson of Harrogate, Tenn., and Kathy (Steve) Boroff of Convoy; a brother, Matt (Alma) Rhodes of St. Marys; two sisters, Pauline (John) Daniel and Thursa Sharp, both of St. Marys; 23 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Four brothers, Murphy, Lowell, Paul and Delbert Rhodes; a sister, Dorothy Thiebeau; and a great-grandchild, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 31, at St. Marys Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Alva Daniel officiating. Burial will be in Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 30, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.
Preferred memorials: St. Marys Missionary Baptist Church.

SHIRLEY A. GOOD
Shirley A. Good, 67, of Van Wert, died at 12:13 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Triumph Hospital in Lima.
She was born August 21, 1942, in Greensboro, N.C., the daughter of the late Samuel and Nettie (Cobb) Henley. On May 8, 1976, she married Bruce T. Good, who survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors include six children, Delores Fritz of Mendon, Terry (Betty) Terhark of Findlay, Jeff (Robin) Terhark, Kim (Chuck) Miller and Dawn (Andrew) Rickard, all of Van Wert, and Troy Terhark of Lima; a brother, Jack Henley of Las Cruces, N.M.; one sister, Clara Hall of Hickory, N.C.; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Seven brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 30, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Pastor Lawrence Edward Good and Father Mike Zacharias officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, July 29, at the funeral home.
