KING
    Paul E. King, 96, of Delphos, died at 2:15 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2008, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
    He was born April 20, 1911, in Delphos, the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Stallkamp) King. On July 10, 1935, he married Silvera P. (Schille) King, who preceded him in death on December 24, 1988.
    Survivors include two sons, Louis (Nancy) King of Lima and Kevin (Suzanne) King of Chagrin Falls; two daughters, Patricia (James) Bryan and Paulette (Walter) Honigford, both of Delphos; 14 grandchildren;  four stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 12 stepgreat-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
    A sister, Mary Louise Katterheinrich, and one great-granddaughter, also preceded him in death.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father George Maramkandom officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.
    Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 that evening.
    Memorials: St. John’s Parish Foundation or a charity of donor’s choice.

HAUKE
    Carolyn A. “Carrie” Hauke, 73, of Van Wert, died at 1:47 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2008, at Van Wert County Hospital.
    She was born January 23, 1935, in Fort Wayne, Ind., the daughter of the late Henry William and Rosalie (Altman) Endorf. On February 27, 1953, she married Carl A. Hauke, who survives in Van Wert.
    Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
    There will be no visitation.
    Arrangements were handled by Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.

HALLER
    Berta Katherine Haller, 90, of Van Wert, died at 9:40 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2008, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.
    She was born February 8, 1918, in Paulding, the daughter of the late Milton C. and Fairy L. (Huffman) Wiegel. On January 14, 1944, she married Eugene B. Haller Jr., who survives in Van Wert.
    Other survivors include Susan (Martin) McKanna of Celina and Kathy A. (Mike) Baltzell of Sanford, Fla.; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
    A brother, Milton Wiegel, also preceded her in death.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. William C. Haggis II officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery near Middle Point.
    Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Friday at the church.
