KEBER
Patricia Y. Keber, 75, of
rural Van Wert, died at 5:25 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2008, at Vancrest Health Care
Center in Van Wert.
She was born August 13, 1932, in Van Wert, the daughte
r of
the late Dailey C. and Nellie Maxine (Lockard) Krugh. On September 10, 1955, she
married Edward L. Keber, who survives.
Mrs. Keber was a homemaker and farm wife. She was a member of
St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert and its Altar & Rosary
Society. She was a 1950 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School. She was also
a member of the Van Wert County Farm Bureau and had been a 4-H advisor for many
years. Pat greatly loved her family and spent much of her time attending her
grandchildren’s ballgames and music events.
In addition to her husband, survivors include five children,
Mark E. (Deborah) Keber, Daniel L. (Vicki) Keber, Mary K. (David) Allmandinger
and Ronald P. (Tracy) Keber, all of Ohio City, and Beth E. (John) Gamble of Van
Wert; a brother, Ned (Mary Lue) Krugh of Ohio City; 13 grandchildren, Anne
(Mike) Myers, Bret Keber, Corey Keber, Brooke Keber, Nick Keber, Ryan Keber,
Phil Gamble, Marie Gamble, Molly Gamble, Matt Allmandinger, Maggie Allmandinger,
Scott Keber and Kyle Keber; two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Harper Myers;
and a sister-in-law, Iris Krugh of Sun City, Fla.
A daughter, Anne Marie Keber, and one brother, Rex Krugh,
also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday,
May 5, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, with Father
Mike Zacharias officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.
Visitation is from 1-8 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Cowan &
Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, where a Rosary service will be held at 8 that
evening.

Way.
