CROW

Vera I. Crow, 84, of Van Wert, died at 9 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2009, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born June 3, 1925, in Lawrenceburg, Ind., the daughter of the late Frank McGannon Sr. and Clara (Innes) McGannon. On September 15, 1945, she married Harold Eugene “Gene” Crow, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol I. (Richard) Amrine of Marion and Kathy (Doug) Mix of Baltimore (Ohio); a brother, Frank (Pauline) McGannon Jr. of Van Wert; two sisters, Louise (Herb) Kephart of Van Wert and Gloria (Richard) Eggleton of Flowery Branch, Ga.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 28, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
