Kramer, Smith say vows in Fort Wayne Dale L. Kramer and Lisa M. Smith, both former Van Wert residents, were united in marriage on May 29, 2010, at the Fort Wayne (Ind.) Liquid Church. Following a private wedding ceremony, the couple enjoyed greeting family and friends at the Back 40 restaurant in Decatur, Ind. On Memorial Day, Denny and Pam Bockey-Smith hosted an open house for the couple at the New Life Fellowship Church in Van Wert.

Strayer, Wilson wed in Spencerville
SPENCERVILLE – Zach J. Strayer of Spencerville and Jenna L Wilson of Van Wert are happy to announce their marriage on April 24, 2010, at Hartford Christian Church in Spencerville with family present. The bride is the daughter of Brenda Wilson of Van Wert and Jeff Wilson of Wren. She is a 2007 graduate of Van Wert High School and is employed with First Financial Bank in Delphos. The groom is the son of Toby and Mary Strayer of Spencerville. He is a 2003 graduate of Spencerville High School and is employed with his family farm, Strayer Sow Farms. The couple will honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica, in July.

Hiegel, Feasby announce plans to wed in August Mark and Michele Hiegel and Troy and Robin Childs are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Courtney Allison Hiegel, to Craig Alan Feasby, son of Bruce and Dianna Feasby. The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Van Wert High School and is currently a student at Rhodes State University working toward her degree as a physical therapist assistant. The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Crestview High School. He is employed by Dealey Chemical and will receive his bachelor’s degree in business administration this fall from the University of Northwest Ohio.

Custis, Siska to say vows in August
Ray Siska of Cleveland and Patrice Siska of Columbus announce the engagement of their daughter, Carla Jane, to Bradley Daniel Custis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Custis of Van Wert. Carla is a 2001 graduate of Perkins High School in Sandusky and a 2005 graduate of Valley Forge Christian College, with a bachelor’s degree in youth ministries, Bible and pastoral counseling. She is presently employed as a personal assistant for It’s a Wrap of Erlanger, Ky., and also works as a junior high youth pastor at Heritage Fellowship in Florence, Ky. Brad is a 2000 graduate of Lincolnview High School and a 2005 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a degree in communications. He is employed with ABM as a sales representative and resides in Florence, Ky.

Robert and Sara Hughes are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Amanda, to James Speiser, son of Cindy Amorelli, and James and Connie Speiser of Toledo. The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Van Wert High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from The University of Toledo. She currently works as an RN in the Cardiac/PCU Unit of Flower Hospital in Sylvania. The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of Lincolnview High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Toledo. He currently works for Brush Wellman in Elmore as a human resource generalist.

She currently works as a dental hygienist in the office of Dr. David Reichwage in Fort Wayne. The prospective groom is a graduate of Wayne High School in Fort Wayne and he attended Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. He currently works for General Motors in Fort Wayne.

Sarah is a 2003 graduate of Van Wert High School and a 2007 graduate of Ohio University. She is currently employed as a math teacher at Upper Valley Joint Vocational School in Piqua. Joshua and Trisha will exchange wedding vows on September 18, 2010, at 2:30 p.m. in St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Rockford.

Norman, Fleming plan July wedding on Hawaiian beach Keith Norman and Leisal Fleming announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Beth Gordon of Middle Point and John and April Hanf of Middle Point. The prospective groom is the son of Dennis and Denise Kincaid of Paradise, Texas, and Virgil Norman of North Pole, Alaska. The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Lincolnview High School. She is serving in the United States Air Force and currently is stationed in Germany as an information technology technician. Her fiancé is a 2001 graduate of Bridgeport High School in Bridgeport, Texas. He is also serving in the U.S. Air Force and is stationed in Germany as a communications technician.
