Saturday, November 7
9 a.m.-3 p.m. -- Festival of Trees events are being held at the YWCA, 408 E. Main St. in Van Wert.

 

Monday, November 9
9 a.m.-7 p.m. -- Challenged Higher Clubhouse, 407 N. Franklin St., will be open to the public.

6:30 p.m. -- The Water & Sewer Committee of Van Wert City Council will meet to discuss centralized cashier operations. The meeting will be held in Council Chambers, located on the second floor of the Municipal Building, 515 E. Main St.

7:15 p.m. -- Council's Judiciary & Annexation Committee will meet to discuss a resolution opposing moving of mail processing operations from Lima.

7:30 p.m. -- Van Wert City Council will meet in regular session in Council Chambers.

SECOND AND FOURTH TUESDAYS OF THE MONTH

7:30 pm - Van Wert Elks Lodge 1197 meets at the lodge, 1197 Elks Drive. July and August, fourth Tuesday only.

 

SECOND WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH
4:30-6:30 p.m. -- Free HIV Testing at the offices of the Van Wert County Chapter of the American Red Cross, 208 E. Main St. in Van Wert.

7 p.m. -- Wassenberg Camera Club meets at Wassenberg Art Center, 643 S. Washington St., Van Wert.  Visitors are welcome.  No meetings on Christmas or Thanksgiving, or near those dates.

 

SECOND SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH

THIRD TUESDAY OF EVERY MONTH
7:30 p.m. -- Van Wert County Disabled American Veterans Chapter 54 meets at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, located at 110 N. Shannon St., across from the YMCA.

THIRD WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH
6 p.m. -- Stroke Support Group holds its meetings at the Van Wert Health Center, 140 Fox Road.  For information call 419.238.8626.
