On February 2 at 1:08 a.m., a man described as thin build, between 5-8 and 6 feet tall and wearing a dark coat and hat, threw a cement block through the front glass entry door of the Lassus Handy Dandy on North Washington. The suspect then entered the store and took a small amount of cash and cigarettes. The man may have been driving a red Chevrolet pickup truck. If you have any information about this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 419.238.STOP (7867). You will not have to give your name or reveal your identity. If your information helps to solve this case, Crime Stoppers will pay you a cash reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards for information about other felony crimes or wanted fugitives not reported on the Crime of the Week.

March 10, 9:11 a.m. – Two people were arrested in the Cleveland suburb of Bedford Heights in connection with a report of identity theft provided by a resident of the 1000 block of Indian Hill Drive.

March 8, 4:33 p.m. – Steven Ullinskey of 123½ E. Sycamore St., reported that someone took a part off an air-conditioner located at his residence.

March 8, 2 p.m. – Nathan P. Culler, 23, of Paulding, was charged with theft after Walmart employees allegedly caught him stealing items from the store.

March 9, 6:01 p.m. – Pamela S. Baker of 11455 Richey Road reported that someone slashed two tires on her vehicle while it was parked in the 700 block of West Main Street.

March 8, 10:52 p.m. – Daniel S. Gutierrez, 55, of 813 E. Main St., was arrested on a charge of probation violation while he was at the Economy Inn, 1133 W. Main St.

March 8, 6:13 p.m. – Harley D. Kontra of 328 W. Crawford St. reported that someone cut the pipe running between the muffler and catalytic converter on his 1998 Oldsmobile Calais.
